Some monotype sketches of several things at the studio. Basically anything in the vicinity of my drafting table.
Another couple of monotypes. The first one, a night scene from Tuileries Garden, looked great on the plate but didn’t print quite as expected. Both that one, and the Longfellow bridge sunrise are 9”x12”s
Re-learning and getting a feel for these monotypes. Experimenting with different papers and mixing light-field and dark-field elements means you’re going to end up am with some misfires and mistakes. Like this little Notre Dame gargoyle sketch for example. Good practice and a lesson in humility I guess.
